We are often asked if it is more affordable to rent decor or should we try to buy it and sell them after the wedding.
Buying your own and selling them after the wedding might seem like it will save money. Factor in the extra labor & time it will cost you. There are so many steps that go into using these items for an event. Purchasing, shipping, unwrapping and taking the tags off, cleaning all the items, transporting them to the venue safely, cleaning afterwards and time spent trying to sell them only hoping the next bride wants your same look / style. Most of the time selling on the secondary market will only get you pennies on the dollar. As a general rule of thumb the rental price is 25-33% of the cost to purchase. This makes renting a value and a lot less of a hassle.
